On receiving admission to the department, the student is required to start the registration process at the university academics registry. A fees payment schedule is made available to the student at the registry. Full payment of stipulated fees qualifies one for the continuation and completion of the registration process.

Afterwards, the student receives a matriculation number from the Department of Student Affairs. With this number and the required documents, the student gets registered into the English and Literary Studies department at its General Office located in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences building.

Consequently, the student is given a course registration schedule with which he registers all his courses online. Only a duly completed online registration of courses allows the student access to his results at the end of the semester.
