Students admitted to the department have the choice of being resident on campus or off campus. The university provides comfortable accommodation in hostels within its permanent site for students who wish to board on campus. Campus residency for students has huge advantages which include regular electricity supply from PHCN and the university generators, constant water supply, modern toilet and bathroom facilities (different from what generally obtains in the surrounding environs of the university), quick access to the medical centre and, of course, zero transportation costs to lectures.

It is usually in the best interest of the student to choose accommodation on campus. For further details on the cost of accommodation on campus, please contact the Dean, Student Affairs.
